Subject: College Street Rebuild

Gary:

3 or so years ago the city paid for the complete renovation of the College Street section in proximity to the City-County Plaza and beyond. This was a major investment by the city that within short order was followed by extensive water system repairs that effectively destroyed that investment.

It appears that we are now in the process of rebuilding this section of College Street and the traffic circle. With no attached urgency, I would appreciate learning more about the following~

1) What was the total cost of the original College Street renovation and when was it completed?
2) What is the anticipated total cost of the current rebuild?
3) Who is paying for this latest effort?
4) Was there a failure to coordinate these three infrastructure investments and, if so, have accountabilities been established?
